Korra fan-art using 3d models

This drawing was done very quickly using a korra design sheet I found on google, and a 3d model in clip studio paint for the pose. I wanted to show that one should always draw using reference, whether It's an original character or one that already exists. It takes away a lot of the guessing out of the equation. You know exactly what the character is wearing and where it should go.

When it comes to 3d models, Instead of sketching multiple poses and angles you can save time by easily moving the camera and the 3d model around. They're not going to replace sketching completely but they are a great addition to the process of making comics, especially when you have to draw many character and poses per page.
